The passionate CEO of New Homelessness Initiatives is William Beamish, a recognized community activist and supporter.
"I’ve been an Eagle Scout since I was 16, and my passion for service and leadership has carried me through some amazing chapters—from earning degrees at Embry-Riddle and Ohio University (currently working on my PhD!) to building a nonprofit focused on helping Ohio’s unhoused community. I’ve spent years in corporate roles at NYNEX and AT&T, flown single-engine planes with my commercial license, and dedicated 20+ years to volunteering with the Boy Scouts and Rotary. Life’s been a wild flight, and I’m just getting started."

Board of Director Carla Pascoe, Carla is a dedicated board member at New Homelessness Initiative, where she helps support the organization’s mission to empower homeless individuals and families in Athens, Ohio. She’s passionate about making a difference in her community and brings heart and hands-on support to every project. Carla believes everyone deserves a chance to rebuild, and she’s proud to be part of an effort focused on compassion, connection, and change.
